Hawthorne House boasts curated collections of notable lines that we trust and love, offering many in-stock items ready for pick-up or delivery in addition to a vast array of upholstery, lighting and accessories available for custom order.

Hawthorne House has recently expanded its lighting division and moved all lighting to the SCOPE Lighting  Showroom. Scope Lighting has opened an extensive lighting showroom connected to the Hawthorne House showroom and can assists you with all of your decorative and architectural lighting needs.

Founded in 2003 by designer Lisa Ellis, Hawthorne House has grown from a firm specializing in furniture restoration, antiques, and art to a full furnishings showroom that melds the best of the past with innovative and modern design concepts.

The Furniture Showroom 

We feature vignettes of upholstered furniture, tables, art, and accents available for purchase or for reference for your custom order. We are the Athens area representative for distinctive brands such as Hickory Chair, Lee Industries, Noir, and Century Furniture, Highland House, Chaddock, and Verellen. Here we also present antiques, art, and special artisanal pieces.

The Design Resource Gallery

We display the in-line fabrics of Hickory Chair, Lee Industries, Century Furniture, Highland House, and Verellen. Hawthorne House is the Athens Area representative for Pine Cone Hill, as well as Dash & Albert and Surya rugs. In addition, we offer a curated collection of fabrics, linens, wallpapers, and floor coverings by the likes of Lee Jofa, Cole & Son, Brunschwig & Fils, Thibaut, Schumacher, Colefax & Fowler, Cowtan & Tout, Romo Fabrics, ETRO, and Liberty as well as contemporary tastemakers such as Hable Construction, including a comprehensive collection of Hable's signature prints. To complete your project, we also offer custom order drapery hardware. We have also curated a Signature Drapery Collection that offers custom draperies at a great value.
